Matthew Roemer

Matthew Roemer is the Accounting Manager at Cannon Nevada, responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations and financial reporting. In this role, he ensures that financial records are accurate and compliant, providing timely reporting and analysis to support both Cannon’s internal teams and its portfolio companies.

He brings a strong background in audit and financial analysis from his years in public accounting. Matthew developed a keen eye for detail while auditing the financial statements of companies across various industries, and he applies that rigor at Cannon Nevada to maintain sound accounting practices and optimize financial performance.

Prior to joining Cannon Nevada, Matthew spent four years at Haynie & Company, a public accounting firm, where he audited the financials of both public and private entities. During his tenure there, he specialized in single-asset investment funds, gaining deep insight into the nuances of these investment vehicles. This experience, combined with his meticulous approach, ensures that Cannon Nevada’s financial foundation is built on accuracy and integrity.

Matthew holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Utah Valley University.
