Savio-Cannon Thoroughbreds is a breeding and racing operation, built around homebred Grade 1 winner Smooth Like Strait and the mare family that produced him.
Bred from the program's own mare Smooth As Usual, Smooth Like Strait won the 2021 Shoemaker Mile (G1), ran second in the Breeders' Cup Mile and earned $1,813,863 before retiring sound to stud. His first foals arrived in 2025.
Owner of Grade 2 winner Call Sign Seven, 2025 Seabiscuit Handicap.
Mares bred to stallions including Into Mischief, Constitution, Citizen Bull and Girvin.
Recent foals by Candy Ride, Cody's Wish, Hard Spun and Oscar Performance.
